Trakwork will only collect, use, disclose and store any personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act and this privacy policy.


What personal information do we collect and why do we need it?

To enable us to operate the Trakwork website (including the auditioning and commissioning process and obtaining and licensing tracks via the website), we need to collect personal information such as your name and contact details. We use this information for our business purposes, including to advise of possible jobs from time to time.

We may also use this information to send you details of other products and services that may be of interest to you. If at any stage you no longer wish to receive this additional marketing material, please let us know and we will remove your details from our marketing database. Additionally, we may provide this information to third parties for marketing purposes, unless you let us know that you do not wish us to do this.

If you choose not to provide all your personal information, we will not be able to provide our services to you, including completing the auditioning and commissioning process and advising of jobs.


How do we collect personal information?

We primarily collect your personal information through our website. We may also collect your personal information by other electronic communication and by telephone. We collect this information through our staff and through our contracted agents and other service providers (and those of our related bodies corporate).

In relation to collection of personal information via our website, we use two types of cookies, namely:
(a) session cookies, which are only used during a single browsing session to let our website know that the same person is using it during that session. As soon as your browser is closed, the session cookie set by our websites is destroyed; and
(b) permanent cookies, which are downloaded onto your computer when you visit our website. These cookies enable us to recognise your browser every time you visit our website and to track the pages you print and visit.

Wherever practicable, we will ask you for your personal information directly.


Who will see or have access to your personal information?

What if I want to check what personal information you hold about me?

Subject to any legal restrictions, we are happy to advise you of what personal information we hold about you on request. If your request is particularly complex or requires detailed searching of our records, there may be a cost to you in order for us to provide this information.
If you believe there are errors in our records about you, please let us know and we will be happy to investigate and correct any inaccuracies.
